We opened OM42 on 4th Street with a simple idea: a place that doesn't force you to choose between a quiet coffee and a lively evening. By morning, it's a sunlit café where baristas pull careful pours and pastries arrive fresh. By evening, the same space becomes a relaxed bar with craft cocktails and small plates.
The name comes from our address — 1434 4th Street — and the number 42, which we've always found to be an unusually friendly digit. Nothing deeper than that. Just a neighborhood spot that wants to feel like a good one.
